John E. Freyer, Jr.
John Freyer, Jr. is president of Land Title Guarantee Company and Land Title Insurance Corporation. John is also the founder and CEO of Settlor, Inc., a fintech and proptech software startup.
Prior to Land Title, John held a number of positions across a variety of industries including investment banking, telecommunications and software operations in both North Carolina and Virginia. He later returned to his native city of Denver where he spent a couple of years starting and helping lead Steele Street Bank & Trust (that sold to MidFirst bank in 2015). In 2005, John joined Land Title and served in a number of roles including sales, strategic planning and operational management before being named president in 2017.
John is committed to communities, charities and giving to organizations that preserve the values of Colorado, are inclusive with better ways of solving new and old problems, and are deliberate with their impact. John serves on the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Board, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, Metro Denver EDC Executive Committee, Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation Board of Trustees, Downtown Denver Partnership Board and the National Western Stock Show Association Board of Trustees.
John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a concentration in business and philosophy from Washington and Lee University in 1999. John is a sixth generation Coloradan, and lives in Denver with his wife, Andi, and four children.

John E. Freyer
John Freyer serves as chairman of Land Title Guarantee Company and Land Title Insurance Corporation in Denver.
John was the Company’s president from 1985 to 2017. During that time, he grew the company to 750 employees and increased the size to more than 50 offices, further establishing Land Title as a nationally recognized, highly-respected company.
A fifth-generation Coloradan, John is a generous philanthropist, supporting established Colorado institutions such as Colorado Mesa University, Denver Botanic Gardens, the University of Colorado, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation. He has served on several community councils and boards as well, including the 2nd Judicial District Nominating Commission, Boy Scouts Denver Area Council, Cleo Wallace Center, Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, National Association of Industrial Office Parks, Institute of International Education, and the University of Colorado Real Estate Council, Foundation, and International Advisory Board.
John and his wife Ginny live in Denver. They have three children and six grandchildren.
